Dakuku Peterside, the APC Flag Bearer in 2015 guber election and other APC top members in Rivers State were tear-gassed by the police when they were staging a demonstration against alleged disobedience by the State Electoral Commission to allow the party inspect electoral materials used in the 2015 guber election in the state.
Rivers State Election Tribunal previously, granted them their prayer that they might inspect the electoral materials in search of evidence that the election that produced Nyesom Wike was flawed.
When they were denied access into the premises of the commission, they got agitated and the police had to disperse them with tear gas.
