Excessive use of diaper causes skin problem at the lumber region of the baby. Among the skin diseases include:
Rashes: Regular wetness around the waist area is a sure way of getting rashes that itch. The itching could be sweet but it is very disgusting and could lead to skin abrasion; providing avenue for infections through the skin.
Eczema: This is a fungal disease. It needs moist to survive and as such finds succour in the diaper of babies. This type of eczema is reddish and quick in expansion.
Boils: The rashes discussed above could swell up and pus-tip and eventually metamorphose into a full fledged painful boils.
Preventions:
1. Change baby diapers regularly
2. Use antiseptics while bathing the baby
3. Allow the baby to go without diapers for some time especially when at home to allow natural breeze on the often covered body part.
